Eric Yahnker

Formerly a commercial animator for shows such as Seinfeld, South Park and MADtv for a decade, Eric Yahnker gained a front seat perspective behind the trivialities of the media capital of the world that is Los Angeles. After calling it quits in 2004, Yahnker decided it was time to create work on his own terms, creating abstract pop art that mimics the integrity of a consumerist society. As with other pop artists, much of his work relies on image repetition, yet Yahnker takes it further by shredding familiar images then re-stitching them into a geometric three-dimensional explosion that transcends one’s sense of reality.

Firstly I'd like to say hello to all the people not yet following this blog. I'm very excited to share inspirations and random day to day stuff with all / none of you.

Litter "I'm a Man" (1967)

I watched A Hard Day's Night staring the Beatles for the first time the other night and came up with one conclusion: Double breasted or Three/four button up velvet blazers are the shit. They're even better when paired with a black turtle neck or white tuxedo shirt, a black skinny bow-tie and a leather skipper hat.
